Industrial Assessment Center Third-Party Assessor

OCOsink is Now an Approved IAC Third-Party Assessor!

At OCOsink, we are proud to announce our official approval as a third-party Industrial Assessment Center, or IAC-equivalent assessor, by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains (MESC). This designation allows us to deliver high-quality, DOE-recognized assessments to small and medium-sized manufacturers, helping them improve energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and enhance competitiveness.

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) offers small and medium-sized manufacturers (SMMs) the opportunity to apply for grants of up to $300,000, covering 50% of project costs, based on eligible recommendations from DOE-aligned energy assessors. This funding supports high-impact improvements identified through qualified assessments, including those recognized as ‘ITAC-equivalent,’
giving manufacturers substantial financial support to implement
energy-saving solutions tailored to their operations.

Our Services: Driving Efficiency and Innovation in Manufacturing

As a DOE-recognized IAC-equivalent provider, OCOsink offers comprehensive industrial energy assessments that align with DOE standards to maximize savings and streamline operations for manufacturers. Our assessments are designed to identify and quantify energy savings opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to support grant eligibility through the IAC Implementation Grants Program.

Energy Audits & Optimization

Leveraging DOE’s rigorous assessment protocols, we conduct in-depth energy audits tailored to each manufacturer’s unique needs. Our process helps you uncover operational efficiencies and cost-saving strategies that drive substantial long-term gains.

Support for Grant Applications

With our IAC-equivalent assessments, clients are better prepared for applying for DOE’s ITAC Implementation Grants. We guide you through data preparation and technical support, ensuring your grant application is backed by verified energy savings potential.

Commitment to Equity & Workforce Development

In line with DOE’s Justice40 initiative, we prioritize assessments for manufacturers in disadvantaged communities and those owned by minorities, women, or veterans. Additionally, we integrate workforce development by involving students and trainees in our assessment process, creating pathways for the next generation of energy and engineering professionals.
